Feedback

Designed for photographers interested in improving their in-camera technical skills with feedback that’s sensitive to what it means to be on location. Whether that’s at a wedding day where nothing seems to be going according to plan, a family session at a park, or a commercial client in a studio, I understand the limitations and difficulties that come with location factors outside of our control. My feedback is gentle, respectful, and centered around providing actionable advice to improve in the future. I won’t point out the obvious, if you missed a moment or if a shot is out of focus, you know those things and it’s not helpful. I’m interested in providing a third-person, unbiased opinion on patterns I might notice, where there’s room for improvement, and also point out things that I think are working really well. Expect 1 - 2 paragraphs of feedback depending on the length of your catalog. I will reference file names and metadata so you can follow along.

$10 for catalogs under 400 images, $20 for catalogs over 400 images

CREATIVE GUIDANCE

Designed for photographers who want my creative input with their anchor images. For those not 100% confident in their editing abilities, I will provide my input and offer adjustments on anchor images to make sure they’re both consistent with each other and consistent with your vision. This add-on adds one day to your turnaround time as it requires communication prior to beginning the bulk of the work.

$5-$20 depending on complexity of needs and amount of images

MARCO POLO SUPPORT

Can be used in conjunction with both the feedback option and creative guidance, or on its own - this is a flexible option available to you for a behind-the-scenes look at how your photos get edited. For photographers who might enjoy feeling more involved without actually putting in the hours or for those wanting more interactions with me!

Used with the Feedback Add-On: I will provide feedback on-camera and show visuals of what I’m referencing.
Used with the Creative Guidance Add-On: I will record myself as I go through your anchor images and think out loud through my process of making them consistent.
Used alone: You can let me know specifically what you’d like to see, but I’d be happy to set up my tripod as I edit and talk through my decision-making and just show you the process of going from unedited to edited! Photography can be a lonely profession, this can also be used as a way to interact with someone who spends hours looking at your work!
